Julie Thurman is a West Texas native and the only girl of five siblings. Julie has held many different titles over her lifespan. She is a 1981 graduate of Permian High School and a 2004 graduate of Odessa College with an Associates Degree of Fine Arts. She was active in various theater groups through-out high school and college as well as local community theater. Julie served as Miss Permian Basin 1981 and was a top ten finalist in the Miss West Texas Pageant.

Julie is the mother of three wonderful boys and has two beautiful grandchildren. Julie’s hard-work, loyalty and love are evident in all aspects of her life. She began work with the Tiger Tale Production Company. and Tiger Tale Publishing Company. in February of 2008. Julie has served on numerous boards and volunteers countless hours to her community.

Shortly after joining Tiger Tale in February of 2008, she worked with other members of the team and coordinated a citywide fund raiser for the Odessa Police Department to raise money to buy bullet proof vests. She also assists Ms. Clack in local book readings and is continually looking for new ways to utilize her skills for the companies.
